Do you love hunting, video production, photography and the outdoors in general? Ever dreamed of working in the outdoors? The Journey Television is seeking interns.

The Journey Television is seeking two (2) part-time to full-time interns. Ideal candidates will have some background in video production, in-field content creation, photography and basic video/photo editing skills. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills, make valuable contacts across the outdoor world and work towards the goal of working in the outdoor industry.

Ability to travel during the months of August - January is a must. Position can be remote or on-site depending on location.

What do you know?

Requirements

In-Field Media Production
• Video Capabilities
• The ability to operate DSLR/Cinema style camera systems (We use Sony FX3/FX30/A7r5, etc)
• The ability to operate consumer/prosumer drones like the DJI Mavic / DJI Mini series
• Basic knowledge of audio recording for video, monitoring, troubleshooting
• Creative abilities or aspirations to develop content for social media, digital distribution and national television.
• Photography
• Ability to compose still imagery for use in marketing and distribution in the outdoor industry
• Ability to edit (or desire to learn) raw imagery

Post Production
• Video & Photography
• The ability to, OR desire to learn, edit of short form videos, social media trending styles, full television production, commercial creation – utilizing Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, After Effects
• The ability to, OR desire to learn, editing on Adobe Light Room

Hunting / Travel
• Hunting Capabilities
• Have a background or love for hunting and creating content in the outdoors
• Have a general understanding of whitetail hunting, skills and tactics
• Travel
• Ability to travel to film hunts, shows, commercials, and more across the US and Canada during the months of August through January

Attitude & Creativity
• Have a positive attitude with a desire to learn
• Explore creative components of the outdoor media production space with the ability to adapt
• Have strong organizational skills to manage multiple cameras, footage, photographs, digital files, to organize, store, backup content on a daily basis while on the job
• Abilities to multi-task in a high paced environment
